The Gearbox DevCast is a video series designed to give players a behind-the-scenes look at our upcoming content with info straight from the mouths of developers. Borderlands: Dead ECHOs is Gearbox’s first scripted narrative podcast — a darkly comedic drama set in the chaotic Borderlands universe.

It follows Watts, a disenchanted DAHL Echo Operator, who supplements his meager pay by sifting through undeliverable ECHO Logs, and selling the secrets inside to the highest bidder. When Junie, a curious stranger with big ideas and a secretive past, gets him out of a jam, the two strike up an unlikely partnership. As Junie injects a daring Robin Hood twist into Watts’ amateur criminal enterprise, their ECHO-brokering operation draws attention from ruthless mercenaries, violent outlaws, and DAHL’s deadly corporate hit squad lead by power hungry rogue executive, Vivian Proctor.
