WRITE THE FIRST CHAPTER OF YOUR CAREER IN GAMES
Whether you've been gaming since you could hold a controller, or you're bringing skills from somewhere else entirely, our Grad Program is built to launch a career, not just a first job. Across Publishing, Game Engineering, and Technical Art, you'll join a cohort of grads at the same stage as you, learning fast, rotating through real teams, and working on games played by millions.
We hire for potential, not a perfect CV. You'll get structured training from day one, hands-on rotations, mentorship from industry professionals, and a path to kick-start your career. No box-ticking, less busy work, more real projects, real responsibility, and a team invested in where you go next.

FAQs
Q: What makes our Grad Program so great?
A: Prepare to embark on an exhilarating journey with our renowned Grad Program. At 2K Games, we understand the importance of nurturing talent, and that's why our Grad Program is a game-changer (pun intended!). With a jam-packed 21-month program, you'll dive headfirst into an adventure that kicks off after initial training. The initial onboarding & training gets everyone to the same level with specific skills to set you up for success.
Imagine the thrill of potentially embarking on rotation adventures in our international offices, expanding your horizons and experiencing different cultures (visa permitting, of course).
Q: Where is it based?
A: Our grad program is across North America and Europe, including locations in Novato, Vancouver, Dublin and London. Please refer to the job posting for specific locations per program.
Q: Can I apply to more than one pathway?
A: Yes. If your skills or interests overlap across Publishing, Game Engineering, and Technical Art, we encourage you to apply to more than one, doing so won't negatively affect your chances in either.
Q: How recently do I need to have graduated?
A: We accept applications from candidates who have graduated within the last 2 years.
Q: What's the program length/structure (21 months: 3-month Foundation Training + rotations)?
A: All three tracks run 21 months, kicking off each July with a 3-month Foundation Training period. After that, you'll rotate through hands-on placements across our studios and publishing teams, working on in-development and live titles throughout.
Q: What's the hiring process?
A: Our hiring process is task-based, you'll be assessed on real, relevant skills rather than just your CV. It will also include interviews.
Q: Is it on-site, hybrid, or remote?
A: Foundation Training is on-site. The first eleven weeks involve work alongside the other graduate cohorts, in-person sessions and reviews, and a game jam. None of that works well remotely.
During the rotations, you work from your home 2K office, and the arrangement follows the policy of the studio team you are placed with.
Q: What happens after the program?
A: After 21 months on the program, our graduates have the opportunity to specialize and apply for permanent roles across our business, whether that's within Publishing, Game Engineering, Technical Art, or another team your rotations have connected you with. The possibilities are vast.
By that point, you'll have built a well-rounded skill set through hands-on rotations and comprehensive training tailored to your pathway, from technical and analytical skills to project management and the unique ways we work at 2K. Wherever your strengths lie, you'll be equipped to step confidently into a permanent role and thrive in it.
At the core of our graduate program is the goal of nurturing future leaders within our organization. We're fully committed to attracting and hiring the most exceptional people, providing them with excellent training, and paving the way for their successful careers with us. We firmly believe in creating a clear path for our graduates to grow and lead in their respective fields.
