April 2026
New Orleans, LA
The volume was up. The energy was electric. And 220+ students from New Orleans were the stars of the show.
2K Foundations brought it all the way up at a celebration for RESONATE, our six-week music education journey designed to empower K–8th graders to use music, creativity, and self-expression as tools for stronger mental health.
This one was personal. Fueled by NBA 2K26's partnership with music legend and New Orleans hometown hero Master P, the event became a true collision of worlds. We brought together Master P's Team Hope Foundation and longtime 2K Music partner Studio Express to create an unforgettable day for 220+ students from Success at Thurgood Marshall. This wasn't just a celebration — it was a movement.
The crowd erupted when Ronnie 2K made a surprise appearance. Then the energy went through the roof as Master P and New Orleans Pelicans rising star Jeremiah Fears hit the stage.
And the Thurgood Marshall students? They didn't sit back and watch. They stepped into the spotlight, shared their creativity with the room, and stood face-to-face with role models who look just like them.
They didn't just leave with memories. They left inspired, seen, and energized for what's next.
