In 2018, LeBron James opened the I PROMISE School in his hometown, an investment in the educations of at-risk students and their entire families. With the help of Xbox, the City of Akron, and the LeBron James Family Foundation (LJFF), 2K Foundations completely constructed an outdoor basketball court and installed artwork that reads, “We Are Family.”LeBron and his former high school teammates played the inaugural game versus the future I PROMISE stars.
