2K Foundations and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander - NBA 2K26 Cover Athlete - Team Up for Annual Basketball Camp on SGA’s Hometown Court in Hamilton, Ontario

It was nothing but net for 2K Foundations and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, NBA 2K26 Cover Athlete, when we teamed up to host the NBA MVP’s annual basketball camp at the Les Chater Family YMCA. The day was a full circle moment for Shai, who welcomed 150+ lucky kids to his first home court in Hamilton, Ontario. 

Hosted with Converse and the Oklahoma City Thunder, the camp motivated and inspired kids to get game ready for the new school year, with skills drills alongside SGA himself and photo opps with the Larry O’Brien Championship trophy.

While Shai coached on the court, 2KF and Ronnie Singh, aka Ronnie 2K, hosted an early access NBA 2K gaming station, giving campers the chance to be among the first in the world to play the brand new NBA 2K26.

The day was a heartwarming celebration of Shai’s origin story, the importance of hometown pride and a tribute to the community that helped shape him. Shai showed what every true MVP knows, giving back is the ultimate win.
