Welcome (back) to the 2K Blog

“Welcome Traveler!” - Claptrap

Before we say anything, before we talk about what this new 2K Blog is about or why we’re here, we have one very important thing to say to you:

Thanks.

Thank you for playing our games, sure – but we also want to thank you for standing by us as we grew into what we are today.

Since 2K formed in 2005, we’ve been creating games that we love; and you folks -our biggest fans- have allowed us to make the games that we want to play. It’s because of you that we’ve been able to explore new worlds and new ways to tell stories.

Do you remember the first time you set foot on Pandora? Dunked on your buddy before he rage quit?  What does the phrase, “Would you kindly” mean to you?

We’ve published games that  make you laugh – or think – about something you hadn’t before.

You’ve been playing with us for the past 10 years – and we’re not stopping anytime soon.

 SO, ABOUT THE 2K BLOG…

This 2K Blog is the start of something new, something that isn’t just a list of press releases and sales deals. (But don’t worry, we’ll still bring you the biggest scoops as they happen – and hook you up on deals when we are able.)

We’re going to hang out.

Down the line, we want you to know what it’s like to walk the hallways at 2K and why we work here.

This is also about you.

We want to build this new thing together by talking with you, hearing your stories and listening to what you have to say. We want to give you a direct pipeline to the people creating the game franchises you love. And we want to share the love right back by giving you exclusive news, previews and hook-ups that you’ll find first here on the 2K Blog.

Right now, we’re gearing up to give you more insights about what’s happening behind the scenes. This is a work in progress, but you’d better keep us honest.

And don’t forget that as we roll through this 10-year anniversary together, we want to hear your best #2KMoments.

Keep talking to us on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram – and here on the 2K Blog.
